My Top Secret for a Flat Tummy in Seven Days

Ok, so I’ve got your attention. We all have a soft spot for a quick-fix, don’t we? And, with summer looming, quick-fixes for getting a “beach-ready bod” (oh, how I hate that term) will soon be assailing us from all sides. The problem with quick fixes is, much like fast food, they can seem like a good idea at the time, but rarely do they do us any good at all.

Here in North West England, it has felt more like mid-January than early May. Nonetheless, we are, indeed, headed for summer. And, after months encased in black woolly tights, the thought of skimpy tops and shorts may well be making you cringe. Maybe you’re beating yourself up for what you see as “letting yourself go”. Maybe you’re feeling burnt-out, wrung-out and generally overwhelmed with all the demands upon you. Maybe you’ve put yourself through every new diet/detox/quick-fix and feel frustrated with yourself that you’re still struggling to shift those extra pounds. You really, really want to get back on track…but it’s just so hard to know what on earth to do with so much advice bombarding you from all directions.

Every day, I speak to bright, sparky, perceptive women who tell me exactly the same thing. They are fully aware they are eating and drinking crap. They desperately want to stop. They know the crap is harming their health, increasing their risk of chronic disease and making them heavier than they would like to be. Intermittently, they try a drastic diet and the weight falls off (sometimes along with their hair). And then they come off the diet (as everyone inevitably does) and it’s back to gaining weight. And so it goes on…

(Now might be a useful time to recall Einstein’s definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.)

These intelligent, super capable women are not crying out for more knowledge. They’ve got information coming out of their ears. We are, all of us, constantly, relentlessly bombarded with reams of dietary advice. Feel-good, clean-up-your-diet recipes are shoved down our throats wherever we look.

What’s desperately needed is support in applying that knowledge.

And that’s where health coaching comes in. To support, guide and champion you as you incorporate small lifestyle changes that add up to a huge transformation in your health and wellbeing.

You do not need to diet ever again. Ever. What you do need is to be gentle and flexible with yourself.

So how would you like to feel this summer? Energised? Vibrant? Lighter? Wouldn’t it be great if you could keep on feeling that way permanently…rather than just signing up for yet another quick fix for that holiday/wedding/whatever.

That’s what a healthy lifestyle is about – feeling balanced, light and energised throughout the year…every year.

If you’re ready to finally feel good about yourself, I’m about to kick off a 3 month group programme that will allow you to tap into the transformational power of getting healthy as a group. To find out more, click here.

Wishing you good health and happiness this spring, summer and every season.
